Xinjiang and the Propaganda War
How the US Intelligence Apparatus is spinning lies for manfactured consent.
Uyghurs. It’s been a word introduced into political discourse in the west. The US State department, who have been bombing black and brown people in the Middle East for at least the past 20 years, stoked Islamophobia in the corporate media post 9/11–in fact it was a point the propagandists used to rally the country against the Muslim world for two illegal wars, despite the future reporting that would debunk the claims of WMDs in Iraq (why the hell we were there anyway had nothing to do with human rights, but mineral rights); two wars that would, as a conservative estimate, cost in life and dollars:
Nearly 20 years after the United States’ invasion of Afghanistan, the cost of its global war on terror stands at $8 trillion and 900,000 deaths, according to a new report from the Costs of War project at Brown University.
But all of a sudden, around 2018, the world started to learn where Xinjiang Province, China was, and that there was a group of Muslims the US is pretending to care about. Pretending you say? Yes, here is a former US general speaking directly to the State Department use of manipulating the Uyghurs, and fomenting unrest on the western border of China. We’ll get to the EITM momentarily , but just take a quick listen to the foreign policy plans of the US for the next 30-40 years.
This is a big topic and onOctober 10th, 2021, the Associated Press finally relented on the claim of genocide. Against the propaganda generated in combination with Adrien Zenz, a key player in spreading the bullshit, the World Uyghur Congress, which was tied to the US CIA front thinktank, The National Endowment for Democracy, by the Grayzone.
Think tanks. This is the organizational manifestation of the Gramscian concept of hegemonic cultural manufacture, The US euphemism for taxpayer funded disinformation and destabilization non-governmental entities, think tanks are tentacles of the US foreign policy apparatus once removed from direct control of the state department, but fully inline and lockstep with Washington’s foreign affairs as we saw with Colonel Wilkerson above.
Here’s the rub, there’s been several of us defending China, debunking the claims of Genocide, talking to people that actually live in Xinjiang, such as journalist Li Jingjing visiting with Uyghur families in several videos.
We’ve been called everything in the book, genocide deniers being a prominent one.
Rightfully, we’re celebrating our vindication, some more ostentatiously than others ;)
Myself included
Want more proof? The Foreign Policy website, as State Department as it gets, said this.
“Despite the Trump administration’s declaration of a genocide in Xinjiang, upheld by the Biden administration, some legal experts suspect China’s behavior may fall short of actual genocide.”
So not only has the US not been able to prove their false claims of Genocide, they’ve been actively, and accidentally reported bombing the Uyghurs Afghanistan. Funny how that works, the US only seems to care about Uyghurs when they’re located in China, if they’re in another country, we’re either bombing them, or radicalizing them as destabilizing forces.
This has all been part of an orchestrated effort to continue to destabilize and strengthen US presence and soft power in the regions. Former head of CIA and Trump Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, just before leaving office, removed ETIM, the East Turkestan Islamic Movement, from the list of terrorist organizations in the United States, in conjunction and at the same time as the corporate media began amping up it’s propaganda campaign against China 🇨🇳 around the, now over and over proven false, Uyghur narrative.
Look at the dates in the following graph.
2016, the buzz begins, and let’s note that Uyghurs exist outside of Xinjiang Province, but the correlation just after 2018, and especially in early 2021, shows that there have been concentrated efforts to provoke interest in the official narrative, as this graph is just of the searches in the United States.
Now let’s expand that globally, and note the countries in blue, the NATO allies, the Western countries exposed to the intelligence community’s propaganda. At this point, we can reasonably conclude it’s absolutely a psychological operation effort—the truth is irrelevant to the state department, when they’re manufacturing consent for Cold War 2.0–and they’re doing this by exploiting the sinophobia and orientalism of the West, and a population that has been made completely malleable to its nationalist propaganda.
